If you need to contact somebody from ISU, do call / mail the New Students Co-ordinator or one of the committee members and we should be able to assist you with your queries. Some of the students will be in India for the break, we will send you the list of their names and email addresses, so that you can contact them for more details about the University.

If you are planning to come here early, please note that new students cannot enter US, earlier than 30 days of date specified on their I-20. For example, if the arrival date in your I-20 says Aug 22nd, make sure you arrive only after July 22nd. Let one of us know and we will pick you up from the Des Moines Airport and arrange for accommodation, till you find an apartment of your own (typically 2 - 3 days).

On a final note, we will be glad to help you! Make sure you send your travel itinerary well in advance (atleast 4 weeks) to the New Students Coordinator.
